      <title>Bellman/Shuttle Driver</title>
      <description><![CDATA[<span></span><p><span><i style=""><u style=""><font color="#000000" style=""><b>Qualifications:&nbsp;</b></font></u></i></span></p><p><span>The bell service staff is of critical importance to our hotel, as they are the first and the last people that a guest interacts with. </span></p><p><span>The bell person's job is to greet guests, direct them to the check-in desk, carry the guest’s baggage to and from their cars and rooms, and educate guests on the contents and features of the hotel, guest rooms and the local area. </span></p><p><span>They also store guests' luggage after they have checked out if they are not leaving immediately as well as arrange for local transportation when requested. </span></p><p><span>Bell Attendants/Shuttle Drivers are in constant communication with the Front Office and Valet to ensure guests are escorted and their luggage and personal items are transported to and from the guest rooms efficiently. </span></p><p><span>It’s important to ensure that guests are comfortable with accommodation and are familiar with room offerings and features. </span></p><p><span>The driving portion of the job is a five mile radius around the hotel during peak times. This highly visible role gives opportunities for casual conversation and hotel or local recommendations.</span></p><p><span>Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. The bell staff also works with housekeeping to ensure the lobby area is free of trash and debris. Must have an outgoing personality! Must be able to WOW the guests with charm and personality!</span></p><ul type="disc"> <li><span>Transport guests to/from assigned destinations using a property vehicle.</span></li> <li><span>Document all trips prior to the start of and at the conclusion of each trip.</span></li> <li><span>Park vehicle in designated location when not in use.</span></li> <li><span>Inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness.</span></li> <li><span>Check tire pressure and fluid levels for property vehicle and refuel as necessary.</span></li> <li><span>Notify appropriate personnel of any vehicle maintenance needs.</span></li> </ul><ul type="disc"> <li><span>Document all vehicle incidents (i.e., damages, accidents) and provide reports of incidents to manager/supervisor.</span></li> <li><span>Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.</span></li> <li><span>Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including complete weekend and holiday availability.</span></li> <li><span>Must have great customer service skills – all of our positions come into contact with guests!</span></li> <li><span>Valid Florida driver’s license and very good driving record.
